Manila eyed the black and white she-cat she approached. River opened her mouth and said something about Manila being a healer. Ha, as if! “What do you mean a blue thing on my head?”Manila asked as she eyed herself in a puddle of water. “I don’t see any blue thing on my head and I defiantly can’t heal!” Manila huffed, what the hell was this cat going on about? Then Shade approached and added to the confusion. “I can’t glow? What are you going on about?” She rolled her eyes at the two cats and as she did that she saw June looking at her. Manila gave her a sharp look as if to say, what are you looking at? She picked up her pace and walked in front of River and Shade, she didn’t really want to talk at the minute. They were heading for a park to look for the red herbs. “I’m going to find the herbs before anyone else then they’ll have no choice but to respect me! I don’t need shitty powers so be successful.” Manila thought to herself. Suddenly, as she padded closer to the park vines shot out from the group and wrapped around her neck, she tried to break free but it was too late… she fell unconscious. This shit was happening all over again.

Manila awoke to Ettin’s soft voice and warm pelt. Her eyes shot around and she tried to make sense of her surroundings, she could make out cages but that was it, Ettin blocked her view. Then she saw something… it was massive but she had never seen anything like it before. Then it started to make its way into some kind of hut/fort thing, Manila still couldn’t see it too well. She heard the other cats chattering to each other, trying to work out how to get out. At least they were trying to come up with a plan. Manila stumped down, defeated, she had no idea how to help. Everyone was talking about how to use their power to help but Manila had no clue what her power was… even though part of her team seemed to be convinced she was an Aqua because she apparently had a blue thing on her head but Manila wasn’t convinced. “This isn’t the time to be ruling out options, maybe you are a healer.” Manila’s conscience told her but she shook her head, that responsibly would destroy her. Anyway, maybe she could help without a power. Ettin must have seen the look in her eyes as he told her not to be scared. Don’t be scared? How was she meant to not be scared? There was a massive fucking monster! “Don’t shit on my foot and tell me we’re in a muddy field! How am I meant to not be scared?” She whispered to Ettin, terror tinted her voice. “Stay calm.” Her conscious screamed but it was harder than it seemed.

omg, your effects are seriously wonderful!!! the shading/lighting in this piece sets the mood perfectly. really loving the perspective and background!
